About CHARG Energy
CHARG Energy is an engineering-led company that develops and sells advanced flow battery, microgrid, and electrochemical energy systems for high-reliability applications.
We combine deep expertise in electrochemistry, system architecture, and large-scale infrastructure to deliver long-duration storage platforms designed for industrial, utility, and mission-critical environments.
Our work spans laboratory validation, full-system architecture design, and field deployment - ensuring technologies are technically robust before commercial scale-up.

Our Approach
CHARG operates across three integrated layers of development:
• Laboratory research and electrolyte optimisation
• System architecture and stack integration
• Field-based validation and deployment
We collaborate with research institutions and industry partners to rigorously test, de-risk, and refine advanced energy technologies prior to full commercial rollout.
Our Focus Areas
Flow Battery Systems
Modular long-duration storage architectures engineered for high reliability.
Microgrids & Power Systems
Resilient on-grid and off-grid configurations for industrial and remote environments.
Electrochemical Technologies
Advanced electrolyte and electrochemical process development for energy storage and mineral extraction.

Research & Development Capability
CHARG maintains a strong internal R&D capability supported by world-class expertise in flow battery technology and advanced electrochemical systems.
We work in collaboration with leading research institutions and technology partners to accelerate validation and deployment of next-generation energy storage platforms.
In partnership with Queensland University of Technology, CHARG is developing and field-validating advanced long-duration storage solutions for both the Australian and US markets.
